Last night, it was all about Italy and it’s incomparable charm!

• Eighty of us gathered at this famous landmark restaurant, right in the heart of the historical Pioneer Square district, Il Terrazzo and his Maestro-Owner, Carmine!  Since the day we decided to host a Chaîne event at Il Terrazzo, we have worked very closely with Carmine to make sure that we create a memorable evening for our Chaîne members. Carmine came up with an authentic and classical Italian menu that all of us enjoyed for its simplicity and flavor. Greg Chan, our Vice Echanson, selected from the Chaîne wine cellar two excellent Italian red wines, a 2000 Bellovedere Montepulciano d’ Abruzzo and a 2006 Villa Pillo Borgoforte that perfectly complemented the meal. One aspect of the evening that was especially memorable was the wonderful, warm and lively ambiance. We all know that to create a magical evening is not only what is on your plate or in your glass, but most importantly the people seated around the table. Food brings people together, and as a result creates the most loyal and durable friendships. This is what we all experienced last night: this valuable and unique Chaîne friendship!
  
  
• On Thursday, November 19 we will be having the fourth of our series of intimate dinners at Enotria Restaurant, http://www.enotriaseattle.com/. As you know, space will be extremely limited since we want to preserve the intimate aspect of this dinner. This will be first come, first served and limited to 16 members. To reserve your spot please send a check of $80 to Lynn Lindsay, 1510 38th Ave E, Seattle WA 98112. This event is for Chaîne members only. Attached is the reservation form.
